LEGAL / TERMS
Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to Trunchbull's AI model benchmarking, evaluation, publishing, and sandbox services.
Effective August 9, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using Trunchbull, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Trunchbull on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live.
2. The service
Trunchbull provides tools for creating, importing, publishing, running, and inspecting AI model benchmarks. Features may include model-provider integrations, executable tools, isolated sandboxes, public benchmark catalogs, run telemetry, and evaluation reports.
Some features are identified as beta, preview, or experimental. They may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn as the service develops. Benchmark results are measurements under the selected configuration, not guarantees about a model's behavior in every context.
3. Accounts and connected services
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your GitHub account and other connected services secure. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us atsupport@trunchbull.dev if you believe your account has been compromised.
When you connect GitHub, OpenRouter, or another third-party service, your use of that service remains subject to its own terms. You authorize Trunchbull to access and use the connected service only as needed to provide the features you request.
4. Your content and benchmark materials
You retain ownership of benchmark definitions, prompts, tools, repositories, evaluation data, and other materials you submit to the service (your “Content”). You grant Trunchbull a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, execute, and display your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to provide features you select.
If you publish Content to the public catalog, you direct us to make that Content and its associated provenance publicly available. You are responsible for selecting an appropriate license and for having the rights needed to submit and publish the Content.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Trunchbull to:
- violate applicable law or another person's rights;
- upload, execute, or distribute malware, stolen credentials, or content designed to harm systems or people;
- bypass security, access controls, usage limits, network policies, or sandbox restrictions;
- probe or access accounts, infrastructure, or data without authorization;
- submit confidential, regulated, or personal data unless you have a lawful basis and the service is appropriate for that data; or
- interfere with the service or impose an unreasonable load on it.
We may suspend workloads or accounts when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, investigate abuse, comply with law, or protect the service and its users.
6. Plans, billing, and renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the price and interval shown at checkout. Paddle acts as merchant of record and handles payment collection, applicable taxes, receipts, and payment-method processing. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to the terms presented by Paddle at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel through the billing portal available from your Trunchbull account. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
We may change plans, limits, or prices prospectively. We will provide notice when required by law before a price change affects an existing subscription.
7. Third-party services and generated output
Trunchbull depends on third-party platforms, model providers, repositories, payment services, and infrastructure. Their availability and behavior are outside our control. Model responses, benchmark scores, grader decisions, and generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your intended use.
You are responsible for reviewing outputs and for decisions made using them. Do not rely on Trunchbull output as legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other professional advice.
8. Intellectual property
Trunchbull and its software, design, branding, and service content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these terms, we and our licensors retain all rights in the service. Open-source components and third-party benchmark materials remain subject to their respective licenses.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Trunchbull at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, nonpayment, legal or security risk, or discontinuation of the service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trunchbull is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted service, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trunchbull will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Trunchbull's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the updated version and revise its effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when required.
Questions about these terms may be sent tosupport@trunchbull.dev.
